I know, because I caught yours too.

And I know things like you do….

Things other people don’t.

Things on another level, cause we’re both higher then most…

And that’s why we met the way we did, and you can try to pretend it didn’t happen…but it did.

And I saw it in your eyes…

Love at first sight.

And we both felt it….it was instant.

The way you looked at me, and then you looked away.

Not because you didn’t see me, but because you didn’t wanna admit to yourself that I was your Dove, because, you weren’t ready.

And I’ll be honest, neither was I really.

But I would’ve at least tried…to be ready.

But you didn’t give me the chance.

You didn’t give us a chance.

And I wish I knew why…

Why didn’t you at least take a minute to see if what we could be something?

Why did you run away from me, when you knew I was leaving?

Look, I’m not saying this to make you feel like I give a shit, cause I don’t…

It’s in the past and the past has to go….

But I will admit…

I’m stuck in the resistance of never knowing why…

Why you let us break apart from the start, and why are you settling for someone you don’t really love?

I know I’ll never know, but I suspect it’s because you love never being in love.

And I get it….

It’s safer that way.

Then you never risk the pain of losing somebody.
