Naughty birds

There they are again! They keep coming back and invading my territory.

Silly, naughty birds! They never stop picking at my garden, my space, my field, my dominion!

I chase them away and shout “This is my land!”

But they fly high to go and sit at the branches of the tree and while up there, they giggle and shout back ‘Loser, come and get us’

I feel defeated once more.

I look up at them and wish….. I wish I could extend my legs and go with them but I can’t… after all I’m just a little, hopeless dog.
