Learn to Program at the Airport

Whenever I am hopping on a plane to fly somewhere far away in the world I wonder about learning to program instead of watching some random TV show. Also I wonder why they only have Season 4 Episode 3 of Breaking Bad on the plane.

Over time I have found the following resources useful for learning some modern programming languages. Many languages now have documentation provided in an offline version so I think others have found it useful as well. You should first go through the installation guides for each language at home and make sure it is installed properly. References are included at the bottom for installing the languages themselves. Adding the docs is then a simple item to do before you leave for the airport!

Rust is another modern language which seems to be gathering a lot of steam recently, especially in the crypto community. It has the documentation installed locally by default.

It’s that simple! You will use your local code editor to run the programs based on the documenation provided.

For those familiar with javascript you may want to learn the ReactJS framework which has now become a standard in the frontend toolbox.
