state and props in React

the state object is where you store property values that belongs to the component.When the state object changes, the component re-renders.

This is data maintained inside a component. It is local or owned by that specific component. The component itself will update the state using the setState function.

For props : they are arguments passed in from a parent component.Props are read only in the child component that receives them.
